Job Description

The role of Staff Nurse involves delivering exceptional care to residents in a supportive and diverse environment. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve the highest standards of care.

  • Direct nursing care: Ensure that each resident receives individualized attention, with their needs assessed and documented in accordance with HIQA standards and Nazareth Care Ireland policies.
  • Supervision: Provide effective supervision to junior and new staff members, guiding them in all aspects of their work and promoting a positive learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registration in the General Division of the Register of Nurses kept by An Bord Altranais or entitlement to registration.
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience in the area of care for older persons.
  • Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional development at an appropriate level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group.
  • Satisfactory Garda Vetting.
