Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fiber Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure services, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining our fiber optic network. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex problems, collaborate with a diverse team, and contribute to the growth of our global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design fiber solutions and maintain records surrounding our fiber optic infrastructure using GIS and associated tools.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including data center engineering, business development, deployment engineers, and construction vendors.
  • Create engineering design and documents, single line drawings, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system.
  • Ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working in GIS systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in project/program management with a proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • 2+ years of data, inventory, or records management.
