Structural Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join our dynamic civil and structural engineering consultancy in Belfast.


This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, practical design solutions across various sectors, leveraging technical excellence and innovation.


As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the structural design and delivery of reinforced concrete structures, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure robust, efficient design solutions.


You will be responsible for project delivery for both building structures and water-retaining infrastructure, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.


In addition, you will provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the continued development of internal design standards and best practices.


To succeed in this role, you should have:


  • Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE preferred)
  • Experience delivering detailed designs and calculations for a wide range of structural systems
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. TEDDS, Tekla, Robot, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
