This is a leadership role for a Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to drive transformative mechanical design solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of developing next-generation data center technologies and shaping critical infrastructure that powers global cloud computing.


About the Job
  • The primary responsibility is to lead and develop a high-performing mechanical design engineering team across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Drive the team's global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions.
  • Manage and approve mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions.
  • Establish robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management.
  • Oversee procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The day-to-day responsibilities include strategic planning, innovative design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop mechanical solutions. Managing vendor relationships and making critical decisions that impact our global data center infrastructure are also key components of this role.
