Key qualifications and skills include:

  • A Master's degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology recognised by Psychological Society of Ireland (or equivalent).
  • Validation with the Department of Health and Children in Ireland.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience working with children.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools commonly used in autism diagnosis (e.g., ADOS2, ADI-R, Vineland).
  • Strong clinical skills, including diagnostic assessment, case conceptualisation, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
