Senior Manager Quality Assurance Position

The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality assurance processes within the organization.
This senior management position involves providing independent and objective assessment on the effectiveness, quality, and timeliness of remediation efforts.
The successful candidate will work closely with executive management and other functions to establish and maintain best-in-class QA protocols.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with issue management teams to advise and support the effective design and implementation of issue remediation plans.
- Leading comprehensive QA reviews across a portfolio of high-severity issues to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Designing and implementing testing approaches and validation strategies for high-severity issues.
- Providing QA closure clearance and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements for the position include:
- Significant experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or control-related functions in the financial services industry.
- Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
- Sound business judgment and exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of the organization's businesses and functions and their risk profiles.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
