Our team is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Nurse to join our Public Health Nursing team as a community nurse in Dublin South West. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The role involves providing nursing care in clients' homes and clinics, with travel around South Dublin necessary for this post. Staff are eligible to claim travel allowance for work-related travel. Hours can be negotiated and part-time positions are available.

We offer excellent pay rates, a €250 referral bonus, and a €100 locum of the month. Paid NMBI registration is also provided. Our easy-to-use App for shifts and timesheets makes it convenient for you to manage your schedule and track your hours.

To be successful in this role, you will need access to your own transport and hold current Work authorisation. You must also have NMBI registration as an RGN and experience in Community nursing, Acute nursing, and Wound care management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Nurse-led wound care management in clinic and domiciliary settings
  • Diabetes management
  • Incontinence assessment and management
  • Nursing assessment post hospital discharge/GP referral
  • General nursing care for chronically ill or disabled individuals
  • Oncology support and end-of-life care
  • Nursing assessment for home supports
