Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the triaging of incoming prescriptions, verifying patient information and gathering necessary details.
- Evaluate workload and establish prescription pick-up times, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
- Provide quality customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines regarding patient information.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a professional environment, including housekeeping duties and supply replenishment.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preferred AS degree or higher in a related field. Additionally, Vermont employees must be registered with the State as a Pharmacy Technician. Prior experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings is desirable.
