About the Role:

We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will learn to install, commission, test and maintain various wiring systems and services in Commercial and Industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with experienced Craftspersons to develop skills and knowledge
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements
  • Developing skills in working with electricity or electronics
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of your work
  • Understanding and applying physics principles
  • Accurately completing tasks that require attention to detail
  • Working with technical drawings and diagrams
  • Maintaining a well-organized workspace and using specialized hand tools, power tools and equipment
  • Taking responsibility for your own learning, including allocating study time
  • Operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently

About You:

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Above the age of 16
  • In possession of a full or provisional Irish Licence
  • Possess good Communication skills
  • Able to solve problems accurately and efficiently
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and personal development
  • Demonstrate good work practices, including time keeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness
