Job Description

A dynamic financial services professional is sought to oversee accounting functions, manage client relationships and lead a team of accountants. This role offers the opportunity to take on a pivotal position in a top-tier firm.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned accountant with experience in managing client portfolios, preparing financial statements, and overseeing tax filings. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse client base, acting as a trusted advisor on their financial and business needs.
  • Oversee accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Ensure the timely preparation, completion, and submission of financial statements to Revenue and the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.
  • Lead, train, and support junior accountants, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years experience in the Irish market.
  • Background in an accountancy practice, managing client portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
