Job Title:

Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in delivering exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of service users, promoting their independence and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the physical and emotional needs of service users are met, including assisting with daily living tasks and providing emotional support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, encouraging social interaction and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging activities and promote a supportive environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of service user documentation, adhering to data protection guidelines.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Social Care or related field, or relevant experience working with vulnerable adults/children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supervising staff and supporting service users in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a full manual driving license.
