Job Title: Community Support Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and communication disorders.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and experience working with vulnerable populations. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans that promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support/Health Service Skills or equivalent
- Desirable to have a relevant Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care/Nursing or Allied Health
- At least 6 months' experience working in the intellectual disability sector is desirable
- Full clean driver's license with manual transmission capability
- Proof of adequate immunity against Hepatitis B
As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary scale of €33,699 - €46,984, plus one LSI per annum. Part-time hours will be paid pro-rata to a full-time post.
Our locations include Cork city, suburbs, Bandon, Innishannon, and Fermoy areas. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, where your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
