Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and maintaining their independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Administer medication correctly and safely in line with established protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of client progress and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year's experience in home care is desirable.
  • Hold a recognized qualification in care skills, such as QQI Level 5 (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person).
  • Be able to drive and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Show flexibility to work alternative weekends.
