Camphill Communities of Ireland is an equal opportunities employer seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Care Worker to join our team at The Bridge, Kilcullen, Co Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting independence and autonomy.
As a Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management.
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the needs of individuals supported.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
- Have 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, as well as proficiency in IT skills relevant to the role.
