A reputable client, a specialist in their field, seeks an experienced Customer Support Candidate to join their expanding team. This position involves developing and maintaining effective relationships with key clients to ensure their complete satisfaction.

About the Role:

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues, and focus on achieving long-term customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working in customer support, administration, or sales/purchasing administration, with a proven ability to work to deadlines, be adaptable, and multitask.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Sales Account Managers and customers with their day-to-day requirements, ensuring seamless communication and efficient resolution of queries.
  • Process customer purchase orders onto the system, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely dispatch.
  • Liaise with buyers to confirm expected delivery dates and provide updates on stock availability.
  • Maintain open communication channels with internal and external customers regarding lead times, keeping them informed and satisfied.
  • Coordinate timely dispatch through regular communication with the warehouse team, ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Monitor orders as they progress, addressing any issues promptly and resolving them to the satisfaction of both parties.
  • Generate quotations for customers, providing clear and concise information on product offerings and pricing.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Manage shortage reports from a customer support perspective, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide system training to new employees, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in customer support, administration, or sales/purchasing administration.
  • Prior experience working with an ERP system is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines, be adaptable, and multitask.
  • Team player with high level of attention to detail.
