A formal recognised post-registration education at level 8 (Higher Diploma) according to the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework is essential for this role.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for implementing infection prevention and control policies and procedures, providing education and training to staff, and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these measures.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Essential: Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register with NMBI
