Software Engineering Role

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to our development branch. This team creates services that support device image signing and factory provisioning with keys protected by Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) across our organisation.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a highly-skilled team, contributing to all facets of the system: architecture, development, testing, integration, and debugging. They will also contribute to the architecture of our products by working with device engineering teams about what is possible and efficient with our secure infrastructure systems.

This position requires strong programming skills in Java, Python, and C, as well as a clear understanding of cryptographic key management, including public key infrastructures, certificates, and symmetric key hierarchies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure software applications using Java and related build/integration tools
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different geographic regions to deliver high-quality results
  • Contribute to the architecture of our products, working with device engineering teams
  • Participate in testing, integration, and debugging activities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Post-Quantum Cryptography

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience
