Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with our client, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead the Occupational Health care programme for hospital employees in the south of Dublin. This part-time role offers 18.75 hours per week and excellent access to the M50.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive OH care programme for all hospital staff, focusing on clinical wellbeing, advocacy, education, audit, and research.
  • Coordinate and lead the OH programme, ensuring its effective implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vaccination programmes for employees, including planning, coordination, and record-keeping.
  • Conduct health assessments for employees, advising on adaptations and identifying higher-risk individuals or those exposed to occupational hazards.
  • Provide ongoing health assessment services, including screening and follow-up, as well as nurse-led clinics and referrals to medical services when necessary.

Requirements:

  1. Full NMBI registration and a post-registration programme of study in Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) at National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) Level 8 or higher, relevant to the specialist area of IPC.
  2. At least 5 years of full-time post-registration experience and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in the specialist area of Occupational Health.
