At Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, we are committed to empowering individuals with acquired brain injury to live valued lives of optimal independence and participation in activities within their communities.

We are seeking a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our team in Mountbolus, Co. Offaly service.

About the Role:

This role involves working collaboratively with individuals with acquired brain injury, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
  • To assist the individual to achieve their goals and maximize their independence and participation in activities within the community.
  • To provide emotional support and guidance to the individual and their family throughout the rehabilitation process.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Health or Social Care qualification to a minimum QQI Level 5 standard.
  • Full driving licence.
  • A person-centred approach to supporting individuals with an acquired brain injury.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.

The successful candidate will be highly empathetic and understanding of the needs of individuals with acquired brain injury, as well as being highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
