Role Description

About the Job

This role involves preparing tenders, analysing, selecting subcontractors, negotiating & finalising orders, managing financial & commercial aspects, managing forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, and assisting with site records & document control.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate subcontractors, negotiation & finalising subcontract orders, financial & commercial management of subcontractors to Final Account completion.
  • Managing and reporting of forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control.
  • Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge the site management team whilst maintaining & protecting JSS commercial & contractual entitlement.
  • Manage & oversee AQS & TQS, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues.
Key Requirements
  • Experience as a CSA Quantity Surveyor in build projects.
  • Experience working on large Pharmaceutical projects or semiconductors.
  • A relevant 3rd level qualification.
  • Experience in report writing, forecast planning, and engaging with clients and senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
