This role is for a Medical Scientist - Histology in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing and enforcing laboratory protocols, applying operational procedures, and implementing quality management programs.
About the Role- Assist in developing and maintaining laboratory protocols to ensure compliance with INAB and JCI accreditation standards.
- Apply operational procedures to improve resource utilisation and achieve best practice standards.
- Implement patient-centered quality management programs to measure performance and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in service training across all disciplines, with experience in histology being essential. A post qualification experience is also required, with CORU registration mandatory.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritise and organise work during peak hours to coordinate multiple tests.
- Cooperate with relevant staff on innovative ideas and technology in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in the registration and custody of Laboratory stocks in compliance with policies.
- Experience in cut up would be advantageous.
