Cloud Infrastructure Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled systems development engineer to lead our team in building and managing high-availability cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing and implementing scalable automation systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and architecting solutions that drive lasting improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement systemic solutions to reduce operational complexity and cost
- Collaborate with service teams, operational staff, and leadership to identify pain points and architect solutions
- Contribute to the next generation of cloud infrastructure management, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable
- 5+ years of experience in software development or related field
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Typescript, Python, or Ruby
- Able to troubleshoot at all levels, from network to operating systems to software applications
- Experience leading strategic team efforts requiring work from multiple team members
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, (such as CDK, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or similar)
- Experience scripting operating system tasks in Bash, Python, etc.
