Key Position: Laboratory Expert

We are seeking an exceptional Laboratory Expert to join our team in a Waterford location. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine testing and product release testing, including water testing, environmental monitoring, endotoxin testing, BI processing, and particulate testing.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in microbiological techniques and a strong understanding of principles in related disciplines. They should possess experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical/medical devices/manufacturing industry.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine testing to support plant operations, including environmental monitoring and water testing.
  • Conduct product release testing, including bacterial endotoxin, bioburden, testing, etc.
  • Perform particulate testing in an ISO 5 lab on finished products.
  • Prepare and update Control forms, SOIs, and general lab documentation.
  • Prepare trends and technical reports based on data with guidance from lab management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • Graduate or individual with 1-3 years experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical/medical devices/manufacturing industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of principles of microbiological techniques.
  • Experience in a cGMP environment.
  • Strong competence in IT - MS Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
