Job Summary:

The Senior Manufacturing Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

This role involves planning, organizing, and executing manufacturing operations to achieve optimal performance, productivity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:

    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Ensure effective equipment operation, maintenance, and cleaning according to established procedures.
    • Oversee process control adjustments and maintain accurate records/logs.

  • People Management:

    • Manage employee performance, development, and attendance.
    • Coach, mentor, and counsel team members; delegate effectively to senior staff to build capability.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure timely training for all team members.

  • Compliance & Quality:

    • Serve as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and maintaining optimal process parameters.
    • Investigate and resolve process deviations, documentation errors, and related issues.
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing operations or a related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years' management experience leading a team of 10 or more.
