Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical and administrative skills.


About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position in the HSE Dublin and North East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, and responding accordingly.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A registered qualification as a General Nurse on the Register of Nurses maintained by Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality patient care in a similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using electronic patient record systems.
