Job Title: Site Development Specialist
Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Development Specialist to join our team in Mullingar. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure seamless site operations
- Regularly review and update site drawings and specifications, implementing changes as necessary
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to colleagues, resolving queries efficiently
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Supervise direct site teams and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and effective task management
- Plan and coordinate plant, machinery, and equipment to optimise site productivity
- Ensure high-quality site work, meeting client expectations and industry standards
- Update the site diary regularly, documenting key events and activities
- Deliver toolbox talks, promoting best practices and site awareness
- Provide comprehensive site inductions to all staff members
- Attend site meetings, discussing potential issues and contributing to problem-solving
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultancies, and the public, providing excellent customer service
- Prepare and submit regular reports to site management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
- Civil Engineer degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of achievement
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Team player with the capacity to self-start and work independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proven experience in civil projects, with a solid understanding of setting out principles
- Full driving licence
