Ground Service Equipment Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as a Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of GSE and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs).

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on GSE and HGVs.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in a timely manner.
  • Record inspection findings and job details in our fleet management system.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Certified Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
  • Ideal for HGV or Plant technicians.
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and fault-finding skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive attitude.
  • Welding skills an advantage but not essential.
  • Valid EU driving license.

This is a full-time opportunity with a 37.5 hour working week. On-call pattern every third week with a €120 euro standby payment and €90 euros per call-out.

Job Requirements
  • City & Guilds certification or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in HGV or Plant maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
