Job Opportunity: Financial Operations Specialist
">We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
">- Processing invoices and managing supplier payments, customer billing, and reconciliations.
- Managing RCT submissions and ensuring compliance with Revenue regulations.
- Preparing and filing VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Setting up contracts and managing payment structures for sub-contractors in compliance with Irish tax law.
- Supporting monthly payroll processing using payroll software.
- Daily use of QuickBooks for recording transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and generating financial reports.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L reports, and cash flow statements for review by external Accountant.
- Supporting year-end audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Ensuring accurate coding and posting of transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role, ideally within an SME environment. They will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or Part-Qualified working through exams, and possess a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
