Our company is looking for a skilled professional to fill a critical role in our finance team. This Financial Accountant position involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic support.

The Role
  • Financial Reporting: We need someone to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: The ideal candidate will assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, using their analytical skills to provide valuable insights.
  • Tax Compliance: This role requires the ability to manage tax payments and ensure timely submission of tax returns, adhering to local regulations.
  • Internal Controls: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to conduct audits and assess the effectiveness of financial controls, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Financial Analysis: This Financial Accountant will be responsible for analysing financial trends, costs, revenues, and liabilities, presenting actionable insights to management.
  • General Ledger Management: The successful candidate will oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and month-end closings, to maintain accurate records.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effective communication is key in this role, as the candidate will work with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Experience in financial accounting or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
