Culinary Team Member Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team in Galway. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional food quality and a proven ability to work effectively under pressure.


About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes within their section according to the menu and quality standards. They will also be required to maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene, as well as assist with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Dish Preparation: Prepare and present dishes within your section according to the menu and quality standards.
  • FHMS Compliance: Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP.
  • Jr Staff Training: Assist with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
  • Stock Management: Support stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service during busy periods.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up. You must also possess a passion for high-quality food, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
