This involves implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) for planned and preventative maintenance, reaction time to breakdowns, and cost control.

Promote initiatives that enhance employee motivation, training, and development within the maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cascade and deliver business objectives and performance targets for the Maintenance Department.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs in line with budgetary requirements.
  • Provide leadership to the site engineering team, coaching engineers during breakdowns and overseeing time-critical repairs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team, including determining needed repairs and improvements.

Best utilize internal and external resources to deal with unforeseen work activity, ensuring competence of the engineering team.

Improve production facilities and reduce costly breakdown incidents by developing proactive maintenance strategies.
