Medical Device Engineer Lead

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Engineer Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and troubleshooting of catheter-based and other mechanical systems for medical devices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical or mechanical engineering, with experience in medical device product development, including catheter-based technology. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of mechanical principles and their application to medical device development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative medical device solutions">
  • Applying core mechanical engineering principles to solve complex problems and guide design decisions">
  • Translating physician insights into robust product requirements and innovative design concepts">
  • Driving technical innovation and providing strategic direction across the department">
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risks early and throughout the development lifecycle">

You will need to have a Level 8 Engineering degree (in biomedical or mechanical engineering or equivalent) with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience. Proven expertise in mechanical engineering fundamentals is essential, as is a strong track record of device design.
