Job Title:

Mechanical Process QA Lead

The Mechanical Process Quality Assurance Engineer oversees and ensures compliance with all mechanical and process quality requirements on piping installation projects.

This role involves close coordination with construction teams, welding crews, and third-party inspectors to ensure that all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

  • Welding Documentation: Gather, verify, and maintain accurate weld logs from site crews on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Manage documentation, verification of inspection records, and final turnover packages to ensure smooth project closeout.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, welding crews, and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Quality Assurance.
  • Excellent understanding of ASME and API codes and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
