Job Description

CMS Distribution is a growing and successful business with over 500 people across multiple locations.

As Treasury Officer, you will be employed by the company to report directly to the Treasury and Tax Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Uploading current and invoice discounting account bank statements to SAP and posting cash daily.
  • Uploading sales invoices and credit notes to the invoice discounting facilities and preparing monthly reports.
  • Completing tasks to ensure reconciliations are performed accurately for the invoice discounting facilities.
  • Administering intercompany cash movements and assisting with intercompany management charge invoices.
  • Overseeing the completion of monthly bank reconciliations as per reporting timelines.
  • Monitoring and reconciling banking and credit card fees.
  • Facilitating customer refunds or receipts into incorrect bank accounts.
  • Managing queries regarding transactions on the bank accounts.
  • Responsible for Petty Cash transactions.
  • Posting foreign currency accounts weekly, and Posting of e-commerce account cash and associated allocations.
  • Reconciling Marketplace control accounts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Leading specific project work within treasury targeted at process improvements and automation.
  • Ensuring all policies and procedures are well documented across treasury.
  • Completing ad-hoc training with team members when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3 years' experience in Finance/Accounts (desirable).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • SAP knowledge an advantage.
  • A high level of interpersonal and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively.
  • Methodical with an eye for accuracy and detail.
  • System-orientated outlook with automation improvement mindset.
  • Good team player but capable of working independently.
  • Experience of managing a significant workload, highly organised with strong attention to detail.
