Key Role in Finance and Operations

The Commercial Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial teams by providing expert finance-related services. This includes preparing accurate financial reports, analyzing commercial projects for improved business performance, and managing budgets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site financial teams to prepare and review weekly and monthly financial accounts.
  • Analyze variances and provide insightful commentary on weekly and monthly accounts.
  • Support commercial projects to enhance business efficiency.
  • Manage system pricing updates and maintain financial systems.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Streamline processes and implement ERP system improvements.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and internal/external audits.
  • Participate in site projects, such as new building or machinery acquisitions.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for decision-making purposes.
  • Track and analyze weekly and monthly results for profit and production.

Requirements

  • 2 years post-accounting qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
