Senior Oracle Database Administrator

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Senior Oracle Database Administrator to assume a key position in our IT department.


Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor and optimize performance of Oracle 12c environments on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage and support Oracle Forms, Reports and WebLogic Server, including deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of Hyperion SQR reporting infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement robust backup and recovery procedures, utilizing RMAN, Dataguard and Data Pump utilities.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of existing systems, ensuring high performance, reliability and scalability.
  • Perform AIX system administration tasks related to the Oracle environment, including patching and resource management.
  • Plan, test and execute business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.

Requirements
  1. At least 7 years' experience in managing and supporting Oracle environments is essential.
  2. A minimum qualification of Oracle Certified Professional Level or higher is required.
  3. Proficient working across Oracle databases and applications, including Oracle 12c and 19c.
  4. Expert knowledge of the latest versions of Oracle Database and WebLogic Server is necessary.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of the AIX Operating System is crucial.
