We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product & Factory Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a proven track record of delivering First of a Kind product development projects.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a mid-senior level engineer to take on a leadership role and work closely with project teams and design engineering. You will be accountable for ensuring that all products meet client specifications and requirements, while also providing oversight and direction to junior engineers.
- Lead and manage factory stakeholders to deliver FOAK Factory Witness Testing as per client specifications.
- Lead pre-FWT process across all products ensuring each product is fully operational and functional for FWT.
- Resolve issues pre and post FWT with factory stakeholders and clients.
- Schedule onsite commissioning (Cx) projects and chair status reviews with key stakeholders.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of DC Cx projects and provide technical support to the Cx & Mechanical teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, with experience in people management and/or project management.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in data centre commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC or BMS Controls is desirable.
- Able to work in office five days a week and authorized to work in Ireland.
