Plant Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide overall responsibility for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant equipment in our region.



About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality results, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the growth and development of our business.



Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Liaise closely with colleagues to prioritize repairs and maintenance, maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement our environmental strategy, ensuring sustainable practices and reducing waste


Requirements
  • Proven ability to work at heights, inspect and test complex machinery, ideally within the hire industry or similar
  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline, with technical expertise and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and overtime when required
