Position Overview

Dublin's power generation facilities are managed, maintained and operated to strict efficiency and availability standards in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring safe operation of all plants, monitoring equipment, operating plant gear, maintaining safety and environmental requirements, and supporting operations teams.
  • Performing day-to-day tasks such as monitoring, assessing, testing and operating plant equipment.
  • Operating and maintaining power plants in line with strict safety, environmental and commercial guidelines.
  • Compliance with health and safety obligations.
  • Supporting operations teams in day-to-day activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze information to respond to operational conditions.
  • Flexibility and availability to provide cover when required.
  • Relevant craft qualifications in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical Fitting. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) tickets and qualifications.
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and awareness of Safe System of Work.
  • Experience using Maintenance / Operations Management Systems.

Candidates will engage in a training program and must attain and demonstrate competencies within two years from their start date.
