Highly Skilled Electrical Automation Engineer Required

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems, developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years' experience in electrical or automation engineering. Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring is essential, as well as experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from designing electrical control systems to overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment. Collaboration with technicians and contractors is also an important aspect of this position.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Electrical Automation Engineer will be responsible for undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, commissioning of control systems in the field, and developing PLC and SCADA software for control and monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems
- Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Producing drawings, wiring schematics, lists and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN
- Developing PLC and SCADA software for control and monitoring systems
- Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment
- Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation
- Undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing
- Commissioning of control systems in the field
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in electrical or automation engineering
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring
- Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet)
