Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves leading various projects from an electrical perspective, analyzing complex engineering problems, and providing support to fee and capital budget proposals. You will also be responsible for assembling and managing bid, approval, and construction issue electrical packages, monitoring electrical engineering staff at junior levels, checking other electrical engineers' work for accuracy and quality, and undertaking peer reviews.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead various projects from an electrical perspective and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions.
  • Provide support to fee and capital budget proposals as required.
  • Assemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue electrical packages in an efficient and lean manner.
  • Monitor electrical engineering staff at junior levels, if required.
  • Check other electrical engineers work for accuracy and quality and undertake peer reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Third Level Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design.
  • Certifications: Chartered or working towards same.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of all applicable electrical engineering codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercially aware and have ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are implemented to provide cost-effective solutions for clients.
