Care is at the heart of our services, and we are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team. The role involves maintaining vigilance regarding the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents within the nursing home.

About the Role

The Catering Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing meals and beverages for residents and staff according to hygiene standards.
  • Maintaining dining areas, ensuring all necessary equipment, utensils, and food are available in the correct quantities and at the right times.
  • Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas, and washing catering utensils using appropriate techniques and equipment as directed by the Head Chef or Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities:

This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
