Key Account Manager Job Overview

National Vehicle Distribution is a family-owned business that assists vehicle manufacturers with timely and efficient product distribution.

Our company provides outbound logistics services, including transportation, storage, and enhancement of vehicles prior to delivery. We utilize emerging technology to introduce efficiencies and save time and money for our customers.

The Key Account Manager reports directly to the Customer Operations Manager and is responsible for commercial management of key accounts. The successful candidate will plan account activity, execute tasks to the highest standards, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to meet and surpass agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role requires proficiency in comprehensive ERP software systems, CRM (Salesforce), and project management tools. Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and effective communication are essential skills for this position.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field and proven experience in key account management or sales.

The Key Account Manager will maintain and streamline the customer and vehicle journey through NVD's supply chain with support from all business units within the organization.

Responsibilities include coordination, planning, and management of customer activity, conducting regular meetings with customers, optimizing workflows, maintaining excellent working knowledge of the industry, dealing with customer queries efficiently, generating reports as required, and reporting customer issues to appropriate personnel.
