Key Responsibilities:- Manage sustainability projects from concept to completion stage, ensuring successful delivery and exceeding client expectations.
- Conduct thorough assessments across commercial & industrial schemes, from feasibility through to final commissioning.
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation (Building and Planning regulations), applying relevant knowledge to ensure compliance and optimal project outcomes.
- Nurture and develop strong client relationships, both internally and externally, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present clear and concise technical reports, effectively communicating complex information to stakeholders.
Additionally, the team provides services including climate risk assessment, building life-cycle assessments; building physics simulation modelling; NZEB, decarbonisation strategies, low/net zero carbon/energy building design strategies, building energy management assessment, sustainability master planning & environmental planning, impact assessments & regulatory permitting. Relevant experience & knowledge of these services are advantageous.
Requirements:- A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture /Engineering/Environmental/Sustainability or related subject.
- Qualifications in LEED AP BD&C, and/or BREEAM Assessor or BREEAM AP.
- At least 5 years' experience as a sustainability consultant or related position, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
- Minimum of 2-3 projects completed through to certification.
- Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable.
- Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills.
- Project engineering / management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
