The Technical Director will oversee the entire process of managing and delivering new aircraft to meet customer expectations. This involves strategic planning, effective resource allocation, and close collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop project plans that ensure on-time delivery of aircraft while meeting customer requirements.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
- Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of aircraft deliveries, from design to delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Customer Liaison:
- Represent the organization in meetings with customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate with airlines, OEMs, and equipment suppliers to ensure specification adherence and timely delivery.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
- Requirements:
- Relevant degree in aeronautical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in aircraft specification, configuration, and delivery management.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of the aircraft delivery process and vendor relationships.
