I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the food and nutrition sector for a Manufacturing Systems Expert in Co. Cork. This permanent, full-time role is based 30-40 minutes from Cork City.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and processes. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between production, finance, and system management, with responsibility for stock alignment, system troubleshooting, data integrity, and supporting new product/system implementations.

Main Responsibilities

Cycle counting checks and stock alignment across systemsScheduled stocktakes outside of cycle counts as per defined frequency including annual site stocktakeAlignment of backflush materials and liaise with master data on factor changes if requiredConsumption record verification in MES/SAP and TECO in SAPDaily follow up and correction of 'problem' stockCrashed iDocs/COGI errors resolutionPerforming the required missing transactions in TKD or other systemsNew SOP/OPL creation. Coaching and training of manufacturing team on correct use of systemsCorrecting incorrect product declarations across all systemsLiaise with finance for month end closure. Resolve any issue blocking the month process in a timely mannerInvestigate any production orders with unexpected associated activities or consumptionsWISE, Tekdan, SAP UAT/simulation testingAssist other departments when they require MFG input in new system development or system improvementSetup and training of new users on manufacturing systemsSetting up MFG systems for trials, new products etcLiaise with WISE, DANIS, GEA. Logging and responding to ticketsWeekly attendance at Raws and Stocks meetingRunning, constructing and sending out reports as requiredChanging WISE master data as requestedPoka system administrator: creating forms, setting up new plant structures in Poka

Experience & Qualifications

System experience in a manufacturing environment or similarRelevant third level qualificationKnowledge of SAP modules and how they interact with a multinational organisation.Proficient in data entry and managementProficient in the use of MS Office toolsProficient numerical ability to record interpret and analyse key process dataProven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
