We are currently recruiting for an exciting contract opportunity to work as a Manufacturing Process Expert. The role will involve providing engineering support to teams and acting as a subject matter expert on process equipment.

  • Acting as a Processing Equipment SME, you will provide engineering support to teams and act as a subject matter expert on process equipment.
  • You will investigate and document process equipment issues that may arise during shift hours.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for owning all quality and safety investigations handed over from the shift team.
  • You will identify and assist in implementing process improvements and optimization opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in GMP operations, including process engineering experience.
  • An understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • A third-level degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Project management experience.
  • Process Equipment expertise.

Bonus points for:

  • A Lean Six Sigma black belt certification.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Project management qualifications.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience.
Key Duties:
  • Process optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identify and resolve issues in manufacturing processes by analyzing data and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Process documentation: Create and maintain maintenance plans on SAP and engineering standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Continuous improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Quality control: Work with quality teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Project management: Lead or participate in projects related to process improvement, new product introduction, cost reduction, or capacity expansion.
  • EHS: Ensure EHS compliance by working with EHS teams to complete investigations and implement corrective actions.
