At the forefront of innovative manufacturing solutions, a seasoned Process Engineer is sought after to spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge processes.

As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for participating in process design initiatives that foster the introduction of new products, equipment, and processes while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee the timely completion of detailed designs within budgetary constraints. This entails working closely with engineers from various departments, including Technical Development, Production/Operations, Quality, Safety, Facilities, and Engineering, to streamline project planning and deployment.

The successful candidate will be accountable for developing process estimates, including equipment costs, and managing change control procedures to ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating design changes using approved change control procedures, generating, reviewing, and approving project documentation, and supporting validation activities as required.

Other key responsibilities include providing technical support to system end-users, attending Hazop sessions, updating existing hazardous area reports, and creating/reviewing/approving site engineering specifications and other relevant documents.

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong background in chemical or processing engineering, with a proven track record in process design, development, support, and improvement. A good understanding of ATEX and Hazardous Area Zoning is also essential, as is the ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • B.Eng in Chemical and Processing Engineering or appropriate Science or Engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years' recent relevant experience in a process engineering role in the Pharma/Chemical/Biotech industry.
  • A proven track record in process design, development, support, and improvement is required.
  • A good understanding of ATEX and Hazardous Area Zoning.
