Your new company A technology multinational based in Dublin South are expanding their tax team due to continued growth. Offering a collaborative and super-flexible hybrid environment, this opportunity will appeal to tax professionals with US GAAP and Nordic tax exposure seeking career progression and work/life balance.You will enjoy the flexibility of working from home 3-4 days a week with flexible working hours and will join a really friendly team and multicultural environment.Your new role You will report to the Senior Tax Manager and you will specialise in direct tax matters for the Nordic region, so Swedish language is extremely desirable for this role. Your duties will include:Manage all aspects of corporation tax for the Nordic regionManagement and reporting of US GAAP and local GAAP tax accounting requirementsTax compliance, transfer pricing and tax risk management for the Nordic region (Norway, Denmark, Sweden)Develop standard operating procedure document for tax processes across the region including identifying opportunities to improve controls and minimise risksImplement and train the relevant stakeholders on any new tax processes or requirementsMaintain cash taxes forecast and assist with global cash repatriation projectsProvide support across the region for tax auditsWhat you'll need to succeed Essential:Experience with direct taxation in the Nordic regionSwedish or Nordic language of some level 5+ years direct tax experienceTransfer pricing exposure in a large multinational businessIndustry experienceUS GAAP Desirable:CTA or ACA QualificationExperience of Workday Finance and Onesource Tax an advantage Big 4 trained with additional industry experienceWhat you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a salary of up to €88,000 DOE and benefits to include bonus, health insurance, pension, 26 days annual leave, buy and sell annual leave option, free parking, hybrid working 1-2 days a week in office, flexible hours on a 37.5 hour week and excellent career progression opportunities.
