Its technology centre in Ireland plays a key role in building and maintaining enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and modern IT services that support business operations worldwide.The RoleThis company are looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer who can lead security practices on cloud systems and onsite work across our SDLC. This is a hands-on experience that will utilise strategy and technical experience to focus on secure architecture, CI/CD Automation. You will have a team to collaborate with to develop internal tools and frameworks that enforce security best practices automatically.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrate security into all stages of software design, development, and deployment.Partner with Engineering and DevOps to embed security controls in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.Conduct threat modelling, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments.Develop tools and automation to improve vulnerability detection and remediation.Strengthen application and API security through secure coding, authentication, and encryption.Mentor engineers and promote secure development practices across teams.Support incident response, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.Qualifications5+ years of experience in application security or software engineering.Strong coding skills in at least one language (., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).Experience with security testing tools and cloud or container environments.Familiarity with secure SDLC, OWASP principles, and threat modelling.Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards (., PCI, SOC 2, GDPR).PreferredSecurity certifications (., CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP).Experience building internal security tools or automationContributions to open-source or security community projects.If this role is of interest, apply to the link provided or contact Daniel McIvor in ReperioReperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
